Optichord is our first Optical lead, and features a high quality fibre optic cable, fitted with a black metal bodied plug and gold plated tip. The end of the cable has been domed and polished, which results in a wider bandwidth transmission.
In addition, special attention to the termination process has effectively eliminated Scattering, Microbend & Insertion loss, whilst it should also be noted that Optichord's 6mm exteal diameter makes it particularly resistant to crushing and cracking.
Available at the moment in 1 metre lengths only, it makes an ideal link for optical information between DVD and decoder, CD to MD, CD to CDR or CD to DAC
